About the Journal

EKSYAR: Jurnal Ekonomi Syari'ah & Bisnis Islam, published twice a year (January to June and July to December) by the Study Programme Ekonomi Syari'ah, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Muhammadiyah Tulungagung, East Java, Indonesia, in collaboration with Letiges, AMCA and BAZNAS. The journal serves as a medium for exploring critical thinking on Islamic economics and business issues. It is open to all academics, practitioners, intellectuals, and students with the specification of the study of Islamic Economics, or Ekonomi Syari'ah. Ideas covering research articles, conceptual ideas, reviews of the literature, and practical experience.

The scope of EKSYAR is limited to Islamic economics or economy shari'ah, Islamic banking and finance, Islamic economic management, Islamic economics law, management Zakat, Infaq, Shodaqoh, and Waqf, Islamic entrepreneurship and business, Islamic economics thought, Islamic insurance, and Islamic accounting.
