Abstract

Character education is one aspect of Islamic Religious Education learning in Indonesia. Especially in the context of basic education. In the era of globalization and rapid technological developments, the moral and ethical challenges faced by the younger generation are increasingly complex. This study is how character education is taught to students of SD Negeri 1 Sangrahan. The study uses qualitative research. The method used by researchers is with the five senses of sight. And conducting a. This observation was carried out in the daily activities of researchers at SD Negeri 1 Sangrahan. During the observation, the researcher was able to conclude that students play a very important role in character in Islamic Religious Education learning. b. The interview researcher is an Islamic religious education teacher. The researcher also conducted documentation. Character education in Islamic Religious Education learning is not only taught theoretically, but also applied in daily practice. Students are invited to apply the values ​​​​they have learned in their interactions with friends, teachers, and the surrounding environment. SD Negeri 1 Sangrahan can also involve parents and the community in the character education process.
