Etika Bisnis Islam dalam Menanggapi Fenomena Harga Obat yang Tinggi di Apotek

The phenomenon of high drug prices in pharmacies is a serious problem that impacts public access to fair and affordable healthcare. From an Islamic perspective, pricing is not only related to economic aspects, but also moral and social aspects. This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic business ethics principles in addressing the reality of high drug prices in pharmacies. The method used was library research, analyzing relevant classical and contemporary literature. The results of the study indicate that Islamic business ethics principles such as ṣidq (honesty), ‘adl (justice), and amanah (responsibility) can serve as guidelines for setting prices that are fair, transparent, and in favor of consumer welfare. Although some pharmacies have implemented these principles, inappropriate practices such as not listing the Highest Retail Price (HET) or taking excessive profit margins are still found. Therefore, internalizing Sharia values is urgent in building a pharmaceutical business system that is fair, professional, and religiously oriented.
