Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 5M concept (Man, Money, Material, Method, Machine) in production management from an Islamic perspective across three key stages: input, process, and output. A qualitative approach was employed through a literature review integrating primary and secondary sources on Islamic production principles, maqashid sharia, and halal standards. Thematic analysis was used to identify the relationship between the 5M elements and Islamic values. The findings reveal that the application of 5M within the Islamic framework emphasizes the halal status of raw materials (material), fair wages and work ethics (man), capital free from usury (money), transparent and safe production methods (method), and environmentally friendly technology (machine). The discussion highlights that the orientation towards blessing (barakah) and social responsibility serves as a key differentiator from conventional approaches. This study contributes to the development of an Islamic production management framework that balances efficiency, quality, and moral sustainability.
