Parenting of Children Through an Islamic Education Approach

Parenting in the family and society is an important part that needs to be continued. Islamic education for children is essential in forming a good personality or character, starting with teaching monotheism, morals, and worship in the family and society. This research aims to analyze parenting patterns through an Islamic education approach. The research method used is qualitative, with a psychological system to collect data with literature studies while analyzing various data through descriptive analysis associated with problems to answer research problems. Data collection by collecting research according to the theme, then analyzed using content analysis. This study explains that parenting style can determine the character and attitude of a personality in everyday life, both in the family and in society. Thus, the Islamic education approach is one of the solutions to strengthen and shape children's character in navigating their lives.
